Jun 19, 2026"Swung by on a Thursday night for a quick solo meal between destinations. Tables had some action and I chose to sit at the not too crowded bar. Everyone of the staff greeted me positively and genuinely. The bartender Faith was welcoming, courteous and just the right amount of chatty, as well as conscious of keeping her bar neat and tidy whenever there was downtime. Beer was cold and the food came out quickly. Ribs were cooked well with a nice smoky bbq sauce that was pleasantly not too sweet. I always judge places by the effort they put into their sides. Instead of mushy frozen beans you get at too many BbQ joints, here the green beans here were freshly prepared with a good bite and seasoned nicely with garlic. The creamy mac and cheese was what it should be, nice and creamy with browned bits on top, but had more depth than a lot of places go for…perfect for kids and adults alike. The pickled veg was a nice added touch to the platter. Food aside, I thought the staff had a great attitude and it was a really pleasant experience overall. I hope they succeed here and I’d be happy to swing by again next time I am in town. Give it a try!"
